Topic Generation
One of the simplest and most effective ways to improve conversions and get more sales for your product, is to have a professional have a cover image (mockup) for your product.
Even though it’s an intangible digital image, it’ll give a realistic feel to the entire product because humans think in images, NOT text.
In this example, we’ll ask ChatGPT for cover image ideas… with this prompt: “I want my pack of 20 impostor syndrome articles to have an awesome box cover. I need you to give me 3 image concepts for my cover. I'll also need a title and subtitle. Give me specific instructions such as font, colors, etc. I should use.”

Now we have a list of sub-niches… BUT… we’re only 1 level deep.
Time to dig deeper with this prompt: “Niche down [sub-niche] and give me popular sub-niches related to it. There should be books and articles published on these sub-niches, but you don’t need to list these out. Bullet points. Table with 2 columns.” For this example, we’ll niche down on ‘confidence building’…
Now that we have a list of sub-niches, you may be wondering, “But is ChatGPT’s information accurate? How do I know for sure that PLR content in these niches will sell?”
Well, you can’t ever know for sure, but you can do some research. Let’s visit 2 popular self-help PLR sites:
Master PLR Tools For Motivation
Since ChatGPT has given us a list of sub-niches, let’s see if these vendors have covered these topics. If we searched for ‘self-doubt,’ this is what you’d see on the Master PLR store…
This is confirmation that the niche is viable and worth testing (more on that later).
You’ll notice that we circled the ‘Imposter Syndrome’ PLR pack in the image above.
This niche was one of the sub-niches also mentioned by ChatGPT and Tools For Motivation is selling a PLR bundle on it.
If we searched for ‘Impostor Syndrome’ on Master PLR, they have a PLR bundle on it too!
Let’s check on another store… PLR.me…
There’s one here too! So the niches that ChatGPT is listing are legitimate, and if you’re a PLR seller, these niches are definitely worth covering.
Now Let’s Take a Minute to Talk About Profitability!
Very often, when you’re trying to create a PLR bundle, you hope that the product will sell well. However, it’s impossible to predict if a topic/niche will be profitable it has not been attempted before.
This is similar to movie studios who have been in business for decades but still can’t predict if their movies will be blockbusters or flops.
In order to be a leader in your niche, you must be willing to take risks and be a trendsetter.
You just have to create the ‘product,’ put it out in the marketplace and let the market decide if they want it. You’re ALWAYS taking a bet on yourself and being a trailblazer inevitably involves inherent risks.
Your product might not yield a profit. You might waste your time. You’ll probably feel discouraged if you fail… but…
This is par for the course, if you wish to be a PLR seller that’s the cream of the crop.
While most PLR sellers will shy away from risk and attempt to mimic what everyone else is doing, you’ll be a maverick who discovers the vein of gold that no one else knows about. Usually, if one PLR seller is doing well covering a new topic/niche, suddenly everyone jumps in and tries to do the same thing – until it all looks like a shark feeding frenzy.
Yet, it’s the trendsetters who make the most money in this business. The PLR sellers who dare to cover topics before anyone else usually enjoys a lion’s share of the takings while the rest are left to fight for scraps.
You’ll want to find the right balance between selling content on topics that are proven to sell… and being willing to take a chance every now and then on a niche or topic that no one else has. There’s always the possibility that your efforts may not pay off – but this should not discourage you.
Even if a product doesn’t sell as well as you think it will, you can always release another on a different topic. Over time, the wins will surpass the losses – and you’ll instinctively develop a ‘feel’ for new topics that could be profitable. "Success is not about playing it safe, but about taking risks. Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." - Babe Ruth
Back to topic generation… So far, we’ve discovered a PLR niche to work in and we’ve gone 2 levels deep to find profitable sub-niches.
But what will you write about?
Simple. You’ll ask ChatGPT to give you a list of topics to cover.
Let’s assume we’re covering the ‘Impostor syndrome’ sub-niche… and creating a 20-article PLR pack.
This is the prompt we’ll use: “I’m creating a PLR article pack with 20 articles on ‘Impostor syndrome.’ Give me 20 popular, relevant topics that I can write about. They should be different, diverse, and preferably trending topics.”
Brilliant! Now you have 20 topics you can write about… and this will lead you to an important decision you’ll need to make…
“Do I write the articles myself… or… get ChatGPT to do the work for me?”
There’s no right or wrong answer here. If you wish, you can get ChatGPT to create the outlines and come up with the writing points for you while you flesh out the articles yourself. Or you could ask ChatGPT to do ALL the work for you.
Or it could be a hybrid of both where ChatGPT does the writing and you edit the content heavily to make writing more interesting and engaging. It all depends on you.
Since this is not a guide specifically on creating content with ChatGPT, we’ll just give you a list of content creation tasks that ChatGPT can assist with. Wielding this tool adeptly and discerningly is in your hands.
Use ChatGPT to assist you with all these content creation tasks as and when required. While we’re on the ‘Impostor Syndrome’ example, let’s look at one interesting way we can use ChatGPT…
